Class Cancelled Today, Wed., July 8th    Posted: Jul 8, 2009
Class will not be held today. However, please find today's lecture ppt. notes available in the COURSE CONTENT section of the website.

The exam will be held as scheduled tomorrow. The exam will cover ch 7 & 8, films: Strange Relations and Faces of Culture, Kinship and Descent. Also, please be sure to read "Arranging a Marriage in India" (weblink to article can be found below this msg.).

Final kinship charts are due tomorrow. Please be sure to include rough draft along with the final draft.

Course Description
Anthropos logos, or human discourse, is the study of anthropology. Anthropology observes primate culture socially, biologically, linguistically, as well as through the examination of material remains of the past and present.
